Boat trip information

The boat trip to the island Brač is one of the more popular selections of our guests, where we most often visit the Golden Horn on Bol. The island Brač is also characterized by a wide selection of beautiful beaches and lagoons. The trip usually consists of a local panorama of the island Brač and a visit to the city of Bol and the Golden Horn Beach. After visiting the city, there is plenty of time to enjoy the beach or explore the beautiful local attractions. The island Brač is famous for the beautiful local stone houses that talk about the past of the island, which still follow traditional stone carving techniques. We also recommend popular trips to the towns of Pučišća and Povlja.

Itinerary

9:00 Start from Podgora

At 9:00 we meet up and slowly start preparing for the trip. The trip starts with a panoramic ride of the local coast where we can see all the beauty of Makarska Riviera towns and popular local beaches.

10:00 Arrival to the island Brač - town Bol

At 10:00 we arrive in the town of Bol on the island Brač. In town Bol we stay approx. one hour which can be adjusted if needed. In town Bol it’s great to have a walk through the main promenade and maybe have a coffee or a cold drink with a beautiful sea view.

11:10 Arrival at the Golden Horn Beach

After we visit the town Bol, we slowly head to the Golden Horn beach which is located 2 kilometers from the town. We drive slowly near the beach and stop for a swim. In case the beach is overcrowded we head to the wild blue bay on island Hvar which is 15 minutes away from Bol. We stop for a swim for half hour and head towards the restaurant.

12:30 Arrival to the restaurant

After 40 minutes we arrive at the local restaurant Pakomina on island Hvar. Restaurant Pakomina is famous for its delicious fresh fish, which they mostly buy from lucky local fishermen. We stay for lunch for approximately two and a half hours, and during that time we also have access to the beach which is situated in front of the restaurant.

15:30 Return to mainland

After the restaurant, we have another stop at the mainland. We stop in another beautiful natural bay where we have approx. one hour of free time. After the swim, we slowly start heading back towards Podgora.

17:00 Arrival to Podgora
